• JOB DESCRIPTION: Come make a difference at Camp Illahee this summer! We are looking for mature, caring, responsible adults who love working with children in an outdoor setting. Counselors live in a cabin with campers and teach in one or more activity areas.

Camp Merrie-Woode

• Merrie-Woode is a noncompetitive, high adventure traditional summer camp in western North Carolina. Gain valuable leadership experience while working with a great team of caring individuals in a wilderness setting. We have a ten-week summer program (3 week, 5 week, and 2 week sessions).

Camp High Rocks

• Camp High Rocks, a private summer camp for boys in Western North Carolina, has openings for male and female counselors for its nine week summer program. We have three sessions, each with 130 campers ages 8 to 16. Each counselor teaches one or more activities during the day. The primary function and obligation of a male counselor is to campers in his cabin group. Applicants for counselor positions must have completed at least one year of college.
